Workshops and lessons
We offer lessons in singing and playing various musical instruments from beginners, through intermediate level up to preparation for conservatory study, for all age groups. Our teachers are well-known performers who are actively engaged both in performing and teaching. Lessons can take place in the comfort of your own home or you can visit the teacher at an agreed location in Prague. Price and specific terms can be agreed. Radek Němejc
Radek Němejc is a sought-after drummer and percussionist. He studied at the KJJ and in 1992 he was chosen to take part in a workshop in Denmark led by drummer Ed Thigpen, Django Bates and Barry Haris. At the beginning of the 90´s he started to perform on the Prague jazz scene and take part in various international jazz festivals in Europe, occasionally working with the orchestras SOČR, OPSO and Agon. He also collaborated on performance, film and theater projects with M. Pavlíček, V. Bauer and V. Franz. He currently plays in several bands as a sideman and he is involved in his own musical projects. For more informations www.radeknemejc.com. Stanislav Mácha
Stanislav Mácha is a well-known pianist who has worked with Czech and foreign jazz stars / Dan Bárta, Robert Balzar, Felix Slováček, Yvonne Sanchez, Jaromír Honzák, Piotr Baron, John Abercrombie, Craig Handy, Nicolas Simion and many others/. At present he both performs and teaches. He offers piano lessons ranging from basic notation to jazz theory and improvisation for people of all ages and levels in a friendly atmosphere based on an individual teaching plan.
